confirmed. DOB also added: If he impresses this weekend, Strider could be on the postseason roster — from Low-A ball to MLB playoffs in same season! Not certainty, but he’ll have a chance to show what he can do this weekend.
 
The #Braves today selected RHP Spencer Strider to Atlanta, recalled LHP Dylan Lee to Atlanta, optioned LHP Sean Newcomb to Triple-A Gwinnett, and placed RHP Edgar Santana on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to September 28, with a strained right intercostal muscle.
 
I'm not sure why the idea of tearing a team down is so appealing to folks that they want to tear down teams that could contend.

The Mets should have made moves to go after it, but they evidently made the wrong ones. Or are so inept that they blew the right moves.

AL WC race is crazy entering the final game. Sox and Yanks tied, Blue Jays 1 game back, and Mariners could be 1 back as well if they win tonight.

In a 4 way tie the team with the best H2H record (Red Sox) would pick which team they want to play among the two that have the worst H2H record (Yankees and Mariners). Jays would host the other team. That would be game 163 and then the winners of those 2 games would play in the official WC game.
 
Leave it up to MLB to do something that ridiculous when they could just seed the teams 1-4 based on head to head record among the group and go from there.
