The Rangers have demoted Willie Calhoun to AAA and he's demanding a trade. Probably nothing worth noticing, but he was a decent bat-first prospect at one point and has always hit pretty well in the minors. Kind of a AAAA guy so far, but if you can get him ultra-cheap, maybe a change of scenery helps him a bit. Again, though, probably no there there.
Kinda wonder if Alex has been on the phone with Dexter Fowler today to find out if he'd be interested in a minor league deal to come home. Jays granted him his release, and since Heredia has an option remaining Dex would be a logical replacement for him until they decide to promote Waters or Harris.
