Despite last night our pen is a strength.

The OF minus Acuna is a joke. However I do believe Ozuna is fine at DH. He's had some bad luck imo. Contreras needs to play 4 out of 5 days. I'd play him at DH/LF for 3 games, catcher to give TDA a break, and then a day off after he catches to keep him fresh.

Will (for a while) and Jansen (since brewers) have been shaky as hell. I'm not sure we can afford to move strider

Snit ran him into the ground during that time and I think we're still seeing the aftereffects of it.

Of course it won't continue all season, but we on the ropes now. And as garmel mentioned, this rough patch started on his 4th appearance in 5 days.

Certainly not #1, but that's 2 wins gone during that stretch. Difference in .500 and 4 games under

ETA... 3 BS during this stretch. For reference, everyone's favorite whipping boy, will smith had 6 all of last season. We need Jansen to get right now

More Contreras is one answer. And wishing/hoping on Harris II.

Deadline help, I have to believe, will arrive. That's been the MO.
 
Contreras and Wright are big surprises so far. If they keep it up and Harris contributes offensively some then we should be ok once Rosario comes back. A bat and maybe a starter will be needed.

Looks like the surgery took this time and he said he feels as good as he did before he ever tore it. He’s a smart dude and his shoulder should be well rested. I think he’ll be a contributor as an opener to limit any stress after the all star break.
 
He’s only 8 hits behind Freeman too. But this year wasn’t the problem. In years 3 and on when Freeman really starts decling is where the problem with Freeman was gonna come in
