I can't make it but I'd appreciate someone asking some derivation of the below:

"Kudos on the Miller trade; the return was stellar. As a season ticket holder, I'd like to understand the FO's rationale behind the Olivera acquisition (and the cost we paid to obtain his services) beyond merely a citation of his long-term contract value, and the organization's plans and projections for Olivera going forward (including which position he may play). Beyond same, does the FO envision grabbing a high upside player if the market presents an unique opportunity (such as Upton, Cepedes, or perhaps a Matt Latos) to add wins to the MLB roster at what could be a below expected market value price?"

What is it good for? Absolutely nothing -- J/K. Like it as means for comparison, but too much emphasis on defense Atlanta Braves added,

I dont really understand the point of these. He cant say negative things about players, coaches, or prospects without causing problems. He isnt going to say "well yeah we ****ed up with that Olivera trade, he cant play 3B like we wanted and we are having doubts he is going to hit as well as we though he would" even if that was the truth. He isnt going to say the team is going to suck this year because it discourages ticket sales.

He's actually had some really good answers so far. I love his thoughts on the international drafting. I completely forgot about it and it could be our biggest weapon moving forward.

I found it interesting that when asked about the draft he said they were most interested in a college bat, but would still take best available.

you can post the actual tweet here, can't we?

If we go college bat I hope it's Corey Ray, but I'm sure we'll see alot of people fly up draft boards between now and the draft. Wonder how they feel about Rutherford.

It's PR. These things attract fans. Not hardcore fans like us, but fans who just "want to hear from the GM!"

Well, actually the team sucking discourages ticket sales.
