So basically another year of me primarily listening to the Braves on the radio and then see where the dust falls.

Bally/FS has always sucked at selling ads, IMO, so they had to have been leaving some money on the table. Maybe it was just BSS/BSSE, or maybe they sold/ran ads to Atlanta-area only, or maybe they just ignored the "Xfinity streaming" feed, but it was 95-100% ads for either other BSS programming or US Ad Council ads, which can't be found anywhere else with such ubiquity and have to be low-hanging fruit.
Granted, if the rights transfer, the new holder may mail it in just as hard. But that's on them.
In my dreams I hope for a solution where if you are in ANY market, you can choose ANY team to be represented for a fee. I would gladly pay $60 to get all Braves games on DTV INSTEAD of all Rockies games. It'll never happen.
So today is the day of this hearing that could determine whether the Braves ans the other teams under contract with Bally will have at least another year with them or if Bally is out of business with MLB and likely done for period once the end of the basketball and hockey seasons arrive.
If I had to place a prediction, I think the results will allow one more year of Bally for the 2024 season. This to allow the teams to have a plan in place for 2025 and also to make it as little as an inconvenience to the customers, IE, the fans. But I wouldn't put any money on it. Bally/DSG has been kind of kicking the can for a while and it really seems like MLB is fed up with them.
Think we'll have an idea of Braves TV for next year by day's end.
CC- thanks for staying on top of this for us !
