Baseball mind of the year award.

I'm voting for Heyward. He essentially clarified for us that a Braves team with Justin Upton and Jason Heyward was no way in hell a playoff team. Really brought clarity to everything for the whole board. His recognition of absolutes is revolutionary.

Absolutely.

Sorry Brule, but your award has been revoked. Apparently the judges discovered that at one point you sent a scandalous picture to a moderator of another forum.

But it was to PD, so doesn't that work in my favor?

Man, you really went out on limb with those.

95% of the board was in love with Chris Johnson, giles and I were the only 2 I remember that killed him.

Freeman was a 20 page thread about how I hate the Braves because it's obvious Freeman is going to become a huge HR hitter and hit 30-35 HRs

BJ Upton, not this year, prior to actually signing him.

Mike Minor has had 1 really good year, other than that he's been ass or average.

Have to back up BRUle on Melvin Upton. Thethe actually called him a potential MVP player and a couple posters supported this notion.

Thats ridiculous. I thought he would be a good signing (wow) but never said MVP. Thats like me saying you said that Harden was a horrible player when in reality you said he was only as good as a role player.

Your exact words were the Braves had x MVP candidates and listed BJ Upton. When I called you on it, you specified that BJ Upton had the talent to be an MVP candidate and I was crazy to not recognized that athletic talent.

Sav, any way to search? I tried but it only goes back to mid 2013 season and this was said at the beginning of that season.

The other issue is that Scout Migration thing, Ithink it ditched all the old posts.

I remember it this way as well

I had been screen capping some funny stuff people said so I went to my flickr to see if anything was up there about BJ, and there wasn't. But I did forget that I did this last year and it made me laugh a little, then I got really sad.

Just doing some research and came across these old threads: link

niners is out because he predicted the rotation would be our biggest issue.

I was leaning toward zito until I saw this post from him:

BJ should be back to hitting, but comparing him tanking last year to Span tanking 4 years ago is foolish. There's a reason to be more reserved about Bossman than there is about SPan, because Bossman was atrocious last year. I think he'll bounce back

VirginiaBrave was quite negative and predicted our late season slump, but like niners was wrong that the rotation would struggle.

Thank you guys for the honorable mention especially after taking me to task in some cases harshly. And for the record the pitching after May first wasn't all that great, they would have finished 25+ out if not for that great April.
