I think this is unfair. You might think my reasons are bull****, but I don’t believe I simply come here and spout the line of the day without any justification for why I believe something.
You’re quite literally pointing to several positions I don’t have right now.

Do you think masks were effective in stopping the spread of Covid? Not in hindsight. It’s possible it helped, but clearly not to the extent that we were told.

Do you think Trump is an existential threat? No, I just hate his policies and think he’s a generally bad person.
Do you think there should be more gun control? Yes, but not to take guns. I would treat firearms similar to driving. You have to be trained and certified and that right can be lost.

I don’t believe in souls and don’t think fetuses are developed enough to completely eliminate it, and worry about the practical complications that a ban creates. But I think more should be done to stop women from feeling that they need to do so.

I’ll be sure to get my degree in virology before the next global health crisis.
As a reminder, the claim was that we all believe solely what we’re told and have no reason for believing it beyond that. Me disagreeing with you on these cherry-picked points doesn’t mean I haven’t reflected on why I disagree. I also break from the Left on several of those points.

I was never a Trump collusion guy. I think he welcomed whatever help he could get, and Russia was happy to provide it, but that he didn’t do anything illegal.
I was apparently wrong about Hunter’s laptop, but I think it’s reasonable to be skeptical of some guy just popping out of the woodwork to claim he has an abandoned laptop with a bunch of evidence on it. I also don’t believe there’s any proof to date that Joe Biden did anything illegal in that.
The other three I didn’t really question because I don’t make a habit of starting my own personal investigations into street assaults, misdemeanors and non-crimes. Fortunately journalists were able to sort that out for me.
By the way, it’s still weird to me that people bring up Jussie Smollet like we all should have seen it coming. When I hear someone was assaulted, I generally don’t make the leap to “he’s a ****ing idiot and psychopath that paid people to beat him up so he could hopefully get more famous” because that’s not generally how it goes.
