The White House says Trump has now been briefed on what
was in his daily written intelligence briefing back in February, per the NYT.
Bountygate is dead, folks.

"“Over the past several days, the New York Times and other news outlets have reported on allegations regarding our troops in Afghanistan. While we do not normally discuss such matters, we constantly evaluate intelligence reports and brief the President as necessary,” National Security Advisor Robert C. O’Brien said in a statement. "Because the allegations in recent press articles have not been verified or substantiated by the Intelligence Community, President Trump had not been briefed on the items. Nevertheless, the Administration, including the National Security Council staff, have been preparing should the situation warrant action.”"
"Department of Defense (DOD) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) also put out statements on the matter, with the DOD saying that it has “no corroborating evidence to validate” the allegations in The New York Times’ report and ODNI saying that the leaks are criminal."
Vague denials that don't make sense. If there were "no corroborating evidence" there would never have been a report in the first place. How incompetent do you think the intelligence agencies are? Wait. Don't answer that.
This is not simply unfounded gossip.
1. Taliban fighters were captured over a year ago who claimed this was going on. 2. Apparently wire transfers between Russian and the Taliban has been discovered. 3. There is broad agreement within the intelligence community that something dubious is going on. 4. This report came after a months long investigation into whether this was really going on or not.
Anyway, I wonder how those families who lost loved ones feel. I wonder how other military people feel about T's inaction.

Our Intel agencies flat out said that Trump was not briefed on this.
the cult saying this is over
there is literally no way this looks good for him
it doesn't matter the excuse
but to the cult, nothing matters if it involves their leader
No the agencies didn’t say that. Officials that lead the agencies and who were hired by Trump said that.
Our Intel agencies flat out said that Trump was not briefed on this.
That's semantics, meaning he never read the brief, therefore was never briefed.
Why would you assume this story is untrue??? It fits completely with OO's other actions. He's been carrying Putin's water since before he took office.
