One obvious thing here is that Minter falls in the pecking order
I thought he had higher value too, Martin's been really good though.
Understand that Baseball Reference was simply incorrect. Apologies to all.
Allard has value. He’s 21 and cheap. I think he could be a fifth starter or a long guy.
I get we need room in aaa for pitchers. I get there are 40 man issues.
I’d deal him in a heart beat. I just didn’t think rental reliever when Stroman just went for two 45s.
This deal makes me think aa was going to release him next year or leave him unprotected in rule 5.
This speaks to the going rate for relievers. Everyone needs pen help.
A rental with a 4.02 FIP smh for Allard! AA better make more than bargain basement deals later tonight or tomorrow
This trade tells me that it is quite a seller's market for RP this year.

No we're the only dummies will to give up anything of value for rentals.
I hope they aren’t dilusional enough to think he could be our closer
I mean Luke hasnt exactly been great lately..
Allard has value?
I'm very happy that AA grabbed a rental instead of paying a premium for a controlled reliever. Martin seems like the best rental reliever we know to have been available. Am I missing someone?

Packaged with someone else to the right team I really think he did. Especially with his uptick in velocity and recent better results.
I wouldn’t want either one of em closing out a playoff game. Even the announcers said they think there should be a bigger deal for a closer coming. They mentioned Green, Vazquez, and Smith
