Braves donate Justin Upton to Padres for prospects

I just think we go either the Rangers or Mariner with Justin and I could see the Orioles or Astros with Gattis.

Part of me wants to see both Uptons and Gattis packed together for a return that provides salary relief and some quality talent. Although the problem then becomes the strong likelihood of a dimished return, especially versus what the team appears to be poised to get for Gattis and Upton separately.

BJ is an enormous burden.

Justin is truly the premier player available right now, I'm both excited and nervous to see how Hart leverages the market.

After Minor's good 2nd half in 2013 you were all over his nuts. He had the same service time as Miller does now. If we would have traded Minor at that time for 1 year of a Jason Heyward clone, you would have thrown a **** fit about how dumb it is to trade so much for a rental.

I like Minor a lot. I would trade him for a player of Heyward's pedigree as a contender.
