I definitely think it's too steep, and I wouldn't pay it personally. That said, there are a whole hell of a lot less options available at this point if Preller's still trying to make another impact deal so that's what I'd ask for. Hart's said all along that we're not giving these guys away just to shake things up.
San Diego just got a better TV deal as well, and the Central Fund continues to grow (with them getting a HUGE chunk of cash from it). Considering the deal they're getting on Kemp, there's no reason to think that they're less capable of offering Justin market money to stay there long-term than we are.
Considering the weather and Justin's preference to remain somewhat out of the spotlight there could be a lot worse places to spend the next 8 years.
