Braves interested in CK and DK

OMG - SHOCKER!!!

Something must be wrong - everybody else is wrong and an idiot!!!

Please fire the entire front office in the morning, His Highness disagrees with the value they put on Keuchel - shoulda spent that money on Kimbrel.

Huh? He was right, dude... I agree, are you okay? You're a weird sad bird man.

Could be good or he could be another backend pitcher. If he’s better than Faulty and Julio this is a good signing.

Almost exactly the contract I expected if DK was going to be a Brave. Wonder how long it will take him to be MLB ready.

So the fact that you said it would be a bad deal if it was for more than $10 million doesn't count?

Who needs numbers? 1/$13 million is "almost exactly" 1/$10 million, right???

I am not going to knock you man but he pretty much said he would be shocked if it was more than a “rest of year” deal. Maybe an option but probably around 10+. Not that is not a thin branch to go out on. But he nailed it and you look silly trying to mock him. Save your bullets man.

Numbers-guys missing by 30% isn't worth pointing out - gotcha.

If Gausman goes to the pen I'd hope he'd enjoy the challenge of being our closer. He could add velocity on his fastball and his splitter with that could make for a solid closer.

Do you understand what a plus sign is? That's the "+" symbol in his original post. You know, the one he said the contract would likely be for $10+ million... see, there's that darned sign.

Also, if you're talking about the difference between $10 and $13 million, you may want to revisit that 30% number with some simple math.

You can't be serious. He literally wrote 10+ million for 1 year.

I've never gone to your blog to read it, but I may just have to set aside some time to do it. If it is anything like your posts here, the entertainment value should be immense.

I really needed some good news tonight. I just knew when it went across the ticker on MLB Network it was going to say he signed with the NYY.

some interesting tweets from Yankees fan tonight complaining about Hal being cheap

What the...?

I said $10M+ for the rest of 2019.

He signed for $13M for the rest of 2019.

Please, seek help. You are literally too stupid to argue with. Several people have pointed it out many times now.

Seeing some of the posts on this board has cured my depression. Aside from how hilarious they are, knowing that there are people out there who suck worse than I do is really a magical thing. For that, I thank each and every one of you.

Anyways...back to the adult conversation.

The length of his AAA start will likely dictate when he is MLB ready.

Typical ST starts go 2, 3, 4, 5 innings, then a short tune up start before opening day.

I’m guessing he makes a 3-4 inning start, then 1-2 more, then off to Atlanta. That should be around the last week of June?

This Keuchel signing will put the #Braves payroll at about $136M. Should have enough to trade for at least one prominent reliever before the trade deadline.
