I could see Merrifield and Marte both being strong targets, especially if they end up going Moose at 3b. Moose won’t cut it at cleanup spot so another big bat will have to be acquired. Contreras/Grandal and Moose would work.

Use what we already have.

Ender/Pache in leadoff.
Ozzie
Acuna
Freeman

Acuna should be hitting 3rd or 2nd not leadoff.
 
please stop trying to make Ender leadoff thing happen

I see no evidence to suggest ender or pache can put up an avg obp next year. Therefore no to that idea.

It would make more sense to hit neck first and pache 5th. If pache can get to his power with the mlb ball.

If you are this all in with a 40 million bullpen then you can’t punt offensively at catcher, ss, 3b and 2 non acuna of spots.

I do not see how an investment in the bullpen makes a great deal of sense at the expense of both the offense and rotation.

I feel like the team needs two at least above average bats still. One of which would preferably be cost controlled to some degree.
