wonder how Pache fits in within the Golden Wren Era...i suppose there could be a reactionary current (the Hartcoppy Counter-Revolution) within the Golden Wren Era...eras are rarely as simple as their names suggest

I was at the gym when Anderson came in, so I watched it on the MLBTV archive.

He was sitting 91-92 with the fastball. No obvious plus action on it, but the eye test on TV is pretty useless for that.

Slow downer curve around 75-77 that looked average-ish. This look plus the spin data that has been reported makes it hard to call that pitch plus right now.

Without Statcast data I don't bother to grade "stuff", but nothing suggested impact SP to me in this brief appearance. I would still slot him behind Soroka, Wright, Touki and probably Gohara in terms of overall value.

While you were in the gym, I was here in Mississippi eating fried chicken, deep fried Cheetos, and a funnel cake... just a light lunch. Anyway, Anderson did get 2 Ks (1 vs Sanchez) in 2 ip. As long as he continues to keep that K rate up, I'm gonna assume something he's throwing is plus

It certainly is hard to argue with 11 K/9 over 120 IP in A+/AA.

Anderson is the guy I most want to see MLB Statcast data.

The Yanks K a lot. I am not saying dude is a bust. Just nothing was eye popping like wright had imo.
