#Dodgers have acquired minor league RHP Caleb Dirks & OF Jordan Paroubeck from the Braves in exchange for international signing slot No. 87.

I guess that solves the mystery of Jordan Paroubeck. Any idea how much money we got from this deal? And if we still need to do one more to hit our 1 mil goal?

Well, we traded for slot money in the 50s and it was $350,000 or so, so I would assume we still need to make another deal.

Well, they must still need to make another trade or two if Cody Martin only netted $388,400 in slot money with their #54 pick.

They must feel overly confident that they can pull together this overage since they are risking next year's draft plans otherwise.

Ah man... I was pretty excited to see if Paroubeck had any promise. Don't love losing him for slot money.

Yea, I liked what I had read about him. He and Dirks seems like a lot for slot money, esp. since this money even isn't enough to get us to the 1 million goal.

Why in the world would you wait until AFTER you signed players over your pool amount to start making these trades? Now every team knows the Braves need extra pool money and can make them give better prospects in exchange.

Meh, doesnt seem like much.

One more trade: Dodgers dealt their final international slot, No. 87 ($249,000) to the Braves for RHP Caleb Dirks & OF Jordan Paroubeck

I'm guessing we already had these deals in place, in addition to one or two more that haven't been announced yet.

I think thats a fair point.

But you could make these trades before and then end up with nobody and traded players for nothing.
