With likely changes coming after next year, I hope we take no prisoners for next years top IFA. If we get Maitan it'll be well worth theses moves. The hyperboles thrown at that 15 year old are scary good.

Agreed. This is a steeper price than anyone was expecting with this pool money, but if we come away with arguably two top 10 guys this year and then grab Maitan and several other top guys next year, no one's going to care too much about Paroubeck and Fulenchek.
 
I think this plan had a heavy influence on our draft this year. With the amount of pitching we took, it gave us exceptional depth to trade from and is exactly what they've done.
