Bryce Harper Megathread

Again media sensationalism. It's kinda funny how people fall for it over and over again. Watch the interview. You realize they take a 10 interview and chop it up into 2 sentences to make it look juicy, right?

Did he make that statement or not though?

So they pieced together sentences to make him say "six feet under"? Wow...

But in all seriousness it's impossible to take that out of context unless he was doing it on SNL...

Maybe he just Netflixed the show and wanted Teheran to watch it with him?

About putting someone "six feet under".

He said that under different circumstances he might try to put someone 6 feet under. After spending the rest of the interview praising McCann and the Braves (and how great their team is) and saying how he understood why they intentionally hit him, but didn't agree with it. Saying he would have done the same thing McCann did.

(paraphrased)

So he did say it then?

Good to know, what a responsible thing to say.

So under different circumstances Bryce Harper would of tried to kill someone? But it's ok cause he said nice things about Mac? Please spin that to be a good thing. Can't wait...

It must be really tough for Harper to live in a world where he needs to think before he speaks.

it is odd how much giles defends the nats. are you even happy that we're winning games? what if we win the world series, will you be happy, or still talk about the nats?

"we" as in atlanta, not washington.

I dont care what the circumstances are, saying you would try to put someone 6 feet under is just immature, crazy, and worrisome. I dont care if he spends the rest of the interview praising Jesus, much less the Braves. Dude is nuts. Leave it to giles though to turn this into something thats not a big deal.

It is what it is. Harper is a great player but hes going to be a guy who turns a lot of people against him with his antics.

What a hack job report, by the paper who covers the Nats

Seriously the entire quote is posted in the article. Basically Harper said if his team was winning he would have charged the mound (and probably gotten his ass beat considering the closest guys to him are Mac and Freeman, 2 guys I wouldn't want to get into a fight with, especially if I'm an entitled beotch) but because they're getting severely sodomized in the division he wouldn't. What a cuntzilla.

I'd like to thank that article though for giving me the Phrase "They may be giving me poop" SIGGED IT!

Were you insinuating Davey Lopez is a good manager? The whole Nats fanbase would disagree. Good managers are like unicorns.

Davey Lopez, not sure. Davey Johnson? He's a fantastic manager. Every fanbase hates their manager, hell half the old scout board hated Bobby Cox and even more hated Fredi before this year. (or maybe still do)

Davey Johnson has a career winning percentage of .559 and a world series title. He's a great manager. Bc idiot fans don't believe it doesn't make it any less true. The manager is always the scapegoat.

You legitimately say more good things about the Nats than you do about the Braves. You come off as grumpy that the Braves are running away. And you vehemently defend them.

Thanks for telling me what you think.
