That money going to Marky Markakis isn't going to be spent anywhere else. If we aren't getting anything of value, you might as well keep him. I mean someone has to play RF right?

I don't think that's what he said. I always feel more comfortable criticizing or defending deals that are made because the details are there. With deals that don't come to fruition usually the information is a lot more vague. We can still weigh in on them, but the discussion has more of a speculative character.
