Chris Johnson Hopes For Trade From Braves

Would you guys rather that he said that he'd prefer to stay?
I would rather. If he's been called to the office and told that they were shopping him, the thing to do to so call be professional is to let the FO do their jobs. He certainly hasn't done his.

What little respect I had for him left when he stood and watched that hit down the line that got him thrown out at 2nd base. **** him.

Exactly.

So he's the bad guy because he doesn't want to be here? All of the baseball world knows the Braves don't want him. There is nothing wrong with him being public about not wanting to play here. Some of you people crack me up.

I think the Braves would be smart to trade Uribe before the deadline, let CJ play every day, and then try to trade him for a little future salary relief in August to a team who needs a RH bench bet. And when I say "a little", I mean "a little".

Any way you slice it, no way CJ comes to spring training with this team next year.

It's cool we share the same hopes, Chris.

I wouldn't care if it wasn't affecting his play. His effort has been piss poor of late, not to mention his performance.

If no one will take him by July 31st, cut his ass.

Laugh away. Good for you Niners. Again, he's been told they're trying to trade him. What's the point? Should the Braves publicly say we want you gone because you're terrible? Some of you people crack me up.

I never defend professional athletes, but he's 100 percent right. The front office is dicking him around and they deserve to be treated as such.

They're not dicking him around. They told him they were trying to trade him. This wasn't oh we want you to stay then secretly try to move him. They made it known they were trying to unload him and hes sucked on the field.

At least tell me how they are doing that? Because they got a serviceable 3B instead of letting him flail away? Is it because they haven't shown faith in him because he hasn't exactly been the pillar of consistency? Is it because they told him they're trying to trade him, but NO ONE to this point wants him for what he costs and produces? How is that dicking him around? Just help me understand because like you, I don't defend professional athletes normally unless they are my relatives and even then if they suck, I tell them. LOL.
