College Football Thread

I told you in time you'd appreciate Dad jokes.
You're assuming I didn't like your joke in the smart tv thread. You and AA both assumed.

Let me ask you... if the internets were completely about deducing one's opinion based on an emoticon then all those times I did this :cooter: to answer every question posed to me how did you all interpret that?

So you weren't being literal with that emoticon? That's disappointing.

So amped for MSU @ Oregon early in September. Was planning on going out to Eugene to stay with a buddy. Huge Ducks fan, but game tickets are expensive for like row 75. Don't think it's going to happen.

College sports is a joke. Its amazing that people claim its more "pure" than pro sports.

Hearing some rumors that Florida is about to get in trouble. Will be interesting to see if any of the rumors come to fruition.

Revisiting the idea of a trip out to Eugene. Flights from Denver into Portland are reasonable and I may have a ticket hookup out there as we through my buddy.

Stole this from another board. This came from a UNC recruiting site (247.com) about UT:

Tennessee's recruiting efforts to try and secure Tuttle is not the only example of the SEC making moves in the land of pines. In 2014, the Volunteers came in and stole 2013 Charlotte four-star wide receiver Marquez North from the grasp of the UNC coaching staff. CarolinaBlue cannot confirm if Tennessee's recruitment of North necessary fell within the rules of the NCAA.

I mean what kind of unprofessional writing is that crap? I can't confirm a bunch of crap Bama is doing, but I'm not going to publish that statement. And coming from UNC of all places, where they just recently got pwnt by the NCAA. 247 took it down, but too late.

Man, I tell you what. That Nick Saban guy is a bitter man with no personality! Sheesh!

****. Sec network is costing cable companies in the SEC about $1.20 a subscriber. I'm going to be pissed if my directv bill goes up another $1.20.
