Imagine if Michigan who finishes third in their division gets a chance at the playoff.
That would be stupid, but the committee has kept Michigan in the discussion

I don't think Alabama played their best game, especially in the first half. Still things to clean up.
That said, Roll Tide!!!

Unbelievable that people continue to discount Penn State. What is this now? 10 straight wins? And the actual conference champion? From day one, this committee has made up the rules as it went along.
In no way can you justify moving Michigan ahead of anyone. They did not play and if you were going to try to put them ahead of Washington or whoever, they would have already been there.
I don't understand when winning games you need to win suddenly became unimportant.
Is penn state a better team than Michigan?
Is Penn State a better team than Ohio State? Because they beat them... But how could that be if Ohio State beat Michigan? Was Virginia Tech a better team than Ohio State two years ago?
Is Iowa a better team than Michigan?
Penn state- osu was a close game that could had gone either way. 24-21
Michigan obliterated Penn state. You can't possibly put a team that got destroyed above a team that destroyed them.

Washington has only beat one good team all year. No way do they deserve to be in at 4.
In any event, this all but paves the way for an expansion to eight teams.
Why even have conferences anymore? The best conferences champion isn't even making the playoff. The CFPC is a joke.
Conference championships shouldn't have anything to do with it. The best four teams are the best four teams.
