That would be stupid, but the committee has kept Michigan in the discussion

Well everything should be pretty anti-climactic tomorrow. Clemson will hold on.

Although these bowl games are always about matchups and storylines. The media would gobble up a Saban-Whiner playoff game.

i think you have to put Michigan at 4.

Washingtons SOS is in the hundreds and Michigan beat the crap out of Penn Stare 49-10.

No one can argue that Penn State is a better team than Michigan.

Unbelievable that people continue to discount Penn State. What is this now? 10 straight wins? And the actual conference champion? From day one, this committee has made up the rules as it went along.

In no way can you justify moving Michigan ahead of anyone. They did not play and if you were going to try to put them ahead of Washington or whoever, they would have already been there.

I don't understand when winning games you need to win suddenly became unimportant.

Is penn state a better team than Michigan?

Is Penn State a better team than Ohio State? Because they beat them... But how could that be if Ohio State beat Michigan? Was Virginia Tech a better team than Ohio State two years ago?

Is Iowa a better team than Michigan?

Penn state- osu was a close game that could had gone either way. 24-21

Michigan obliterated Penn state. You can't possibly put a team that got destroyed above a team that destroyed them.

Way early in the year. You can't just pick and choose if you're going to evaluate who beat who. To me, the issue is not about Penn State-Michigan. It's about the committee showing some form of consistency. And letting Ohio State or Michigan into the playoff is not being consistent, even if they are among the best four teams.

And Penn State obliterated Iowa. The same Iowa team that beat Michigan.

Michigan in no way deserves to be in the top 4. Not in any universe.

Washington beat the teams they needed to and won their conference in convincing fashion. They are in easily.

That's not even close to the same Penn State team playing right now. Ton of attrition especially on defense early on for them. If we are making excuses for teams losing games then why not use injuries?

Washington has only beat one good team all year. No way do they deserve to be in at 4.

They have beaten enough good teams and they actually played a game this weekend and won it too handily.

Wins @ Utah and Washington State along with a home win over Stanford. They also dismantled Colorado to be conference champs. Michigan has beaten better teams, but also lost two games at the end of the season. Washington lost a game to a very good USC team. Michigan lost at Ohio State and it hurts them, but they lost to Iowa as well. That loss to Iowa sets Washington apart from them. Not too mention they won the PAC 12.
