Dayton Up Ynoa Down

well, he "could" be, yeah. but he probably isn't right now, and he may have more value to a non-competing team and could help you land an established, good RP. i think he's by no means untouchable.
tho i also thought he wasn't worth protecting, and that was apparently wrong.

Not many out there that has better stuff.

Certainly no need to trade him after 2 IP - especially since he's already on the 40-Man. Would seem a bit crazy given the upside and the fact he can be on the Gwinnett/Atlanta shuttle for 2 more years while he costs you absolutely nothing.

The upside? The upside is a middle reliever. I mean we shouldn't give him away for a bag of peanuts, but at the same time it's extremely unlikely we'll ever lament trading Grant Dayton.

I expect he will return to starting next year. Too early to rule out a career as a major league starting pitcher.

Ynoa - not Dayton.
