Democratic National Convention

Pretty much. Mostly American history. My favorite subject area is the Jacksonian Era.

I have that periodical I promised you. I will PM you for your address.

That post was in reference to your post about multiple languages. Did you know that during WW1 on the eastern front the Russians would always attack in Austrian held territory instead of German (because duh). Anyway there was a fortified city in Austrian territory that had been besieged by Russian forces. Now every day the Austrian leadership in the city would issue their orders of the day which isn't anything unusual, except in that city they had to issue those orders in 14 different languages. Of course this would make trying to make adjustments or any sort of spontaneous action by their force impossible because of the language barriers. I just thought you'd find that interesting in light of your post. Such can be the problem when your base or your forces are "all over the place", as it were.

That's a great point. Plain language can no longer be used because every tribe has different definitions for words one would think have a single consistent meaning. There is so much code out there now.

Coulter's tweet wasn't that much more tacky than a portion of the DNC erupting in a "no more wars" chant while a medal of honor recipient who lost part of his leg was giving a speech.

Uh, you just trolling or did you not understand the point of the chant?

Hearing Obama defend the ransom payment vs Hillary defend the emails is like night and day. Obama is really good at this and Hillary is just awful.
