When Wren told Harang before signing, "We can only afford to pay you peanuts" Aaron thought he literally meant peanuts and he had never been happier.

BJ out of the lineup again tonight. Word.
Yep. If Gosselin was playing in place of CJ the lineup would be perfect.
Boni is hitting 12-27 (.444) with two doubles, a triple, a homer, four runs and four RBIs over the last week. Keep this lineup running Fredi.
Also, Gattis is finally ahead of Johnson!
What Bonafacios contract situation? I wouldn't mind him being here for another 2-3 years.
What a terrible argument. Even the greatest aces get beaten soundly at times... what exactly are you accomplishing here? If you can't see that Harang has been a great addition you are showing more and more why people consistently think you have no idea what you're talking about.
He is a free agent. I would love to have him back at 2.5-3 mill. There is value in versatility.
Gattis would be a good fit for the Royals. They have only 85 homers hit. Another deal I could see is Gattis for Samardzjia. Gattis seems like a player Beane would like.
Isn't Samardzija a free agent after this year? Or does he have one year after this?
What I mean is with Harang he loses as often as he wins. He's pitched over his head. You never what you're getting. When the Braves were contenders you knew you were watching a team that was going to win 3 of 5. You're another one of those guys that as long as Braves is on the jersey a guy is all world, next year pitching for someone else he'll be a scrub.
So basically 4 years if Gattis for one of Samardzjia and and a draft pick. The A's made the moves this year to win now. I bet Beane will take Gattis and the payroll flexibility.
The Braves really look to have a shortage of starting pitching going into next year, especially if Minor is traded to get rid of BJ.
After his last two starts, Minor isn't going anywhere.
