I'll tell you why, but the actual answer won't change your mind because you aren't actually interested in the real answer. But I'll go ahead and waste 2 minutes of my life anyways...
The strength of your immune response depends on the viral load in your system. So if you get a few COVID viruses from touching your sister's spoon and then touching your eye, you're likely to get a milder infection than if you made out with your sister for an hour.
Since nobody can control the viral load of their natural infection, there's no way to tell how strong your immune response is without getting tests that I'm quite confident the trumpkins will refuse to subject themselves to.
Conversely, a vaccine dose is specifically sized to produce a specific immune response. So they can confidently say vaccinated folks have antibodies within a certain range, while they have no idea what your antibody count is after you claim you had an infection.
But like I said, you aren't actually interested in the real reason, only the talking points that support your existing views, so this explanation won't even factor into your point of view.
I got the 1st dose of phizer. I'm hardly anti-vaccine. After I got the 1st dose, I got Covid before I could get the 2nd dose. Bc I caught Covid, I see no reason to get the 2nd dose. My job doesn't require it, and now places I wanna visit are dropping the mandate, so I won't get it. Again, I'm not anti-vaccine. I'm anti- make people get it.
Both vaccines and Drew Waters' future shouldn't be controversial: one's an easy and helpful shot, the other's a decided long-shot who probably won't be helpful.
Not being a star and not being helpful are different things. Waters chances of being a star are remote. He needs an unlikely breakthrough like Riley had.
Waters chances of being a useful piece are much higher. ZiPS projects him as almost a 1 WAR player this year.
He has a good chance of being helpful, just a bad chance of being a star.
I’m surprised by that. They have Rosario as about a 1 WAR player. I don’t view the two as comparable today.

What in the *ell does that have to do with anything? I'm 100% against "making" anyone get it, but I've had both shots AND the first booster.
I'm concerned about my personal health and the health of those close to me - if they decide two boosters every year are helpful, you treat it just like a flu shot. No one HAS TO dictate common sense to me - it completely baffles me why people would play Russian Roulette with their health just to make the point that "by God nobody tells me what to do!". What doesn't baffle me is when I sit on the deck at a bar here in the south and hear people whine that they're worried the government is somehow getting tracking devices into their arms while they're surfing Facebook on their *amn smartphone. A pertinent Forrest Gump quote comes to mind every time that happens.
Cool story. Let others decide what's best for them also

I'm all about you deciding what's best for you. Just don't whine when a business owner puts a sign on their door stating that you're not allowed inside if you haven't been vaccinated.
The government doesn't make that choice for everyone - if the owner doesn't want their friends/families/employees exposed they tend to do that regardless of whether there's any mandate. I applaud anyone for making their own choice - just stay the *ell away from me if you haven't been vaccinated. Choices come with consequences.
