Buy gold and bitcoin for the future.

Stock will skyrocket too once the fed starts their printing.

The poor and middle class will suffer most
Capitalism will be blamed. Calls for more government help from both sides
Libertarians will continue to be lectured how their policies destroyed the middle class despite never once being enacted

There is also a new focus at treasury to monitor the effectiveness of spend that I think will result in less actual spend over the fiscal year. There will be no more rubber stamping of expense reports.
This, like DOGE, was like picking trash off the side of the freeway and Trump and his Big Beautiful Bill is a garbage truck that emptied its container on the spot you’d just cleaned up.

The only saving grace for the US is every country on earth is entirely addicted to debt spending. The lack of a viable alternative means Japan, China, Europe, etc. will be happy to buy our debt and collect the higher interest. Or course this just means more and more of our fiscal budget will go towards interest payments so we’ll repeat this debt ceiling circus every year.

When our children ask why we allowed this to happen we will tell them that we thought the robots who took their jobs would allow us to grow over the problem.

DOGE attacked the end point of the spend. Bills are vague in a lot of ways and then when the details come out for finalized spend is where you find egregious fraud. I believe processes in place will capture and prevent a lot of this.

What will we tell them when robots and innovation solved a lot of this?

I simply would not be uncritically celebrating the positive views of the economy by a CEO with a vested financial interest in being on Trump’s good side and an industry important enough to encourage concessions.
I know this is your default reaction.

This is unsurprising.

A man with more money than his bloodline could spend in a thousand years is really still moved by additional personal wealth.

Especially when it costs nothing. There’s no incentive for the Nvidia CEO to say anything else.
