Would the results today have been even better if Trump followed through on his original tariff rates?

How can we ever even evaluate results might be the better question. The 2027 bioweapon would invalidate the 2026 results of the 2025 policies. So we’re really all just wasting our time.

I think there would have been a longer runway of the 'reset' and over time it would have been even better for Americans. Problem is a true reset would take years - Trump would get trounced in the midterms and all would be undone.

Everything right now is being setup to boom 6 months before mid terms and its working tremendously well. Tariffs also have changed behavior of other countries which is one of the purposes of tariffs.

Kalshi has send with 75% of taking the midterms so might as well rip the bandaid while he has the power
Yes right now I totally get the odds considering past precedent.

What the odds aren't factoring in right now are the corruption charges surfacing involving democrats as well as the economic boom we are about to see.

So yes, it would be a good time to cash in some easy money.

Trump got the market to accept baseline tariffs and increased tariffs almost across the board and the economy is still rolling coming out from a multi year recession with autopen.

Just keep sending over the takes guys because 2026 is going to be a banner year for the country. You all see it too.

Takes are typical yahoo finance but the moral of the story is tariffs are at 80 year highs and yet the economy is headed in an incredible direction.

This simply should not be possible based on all the 'studies' released on the impacts of tariffs. So the rebuttal now "Its not the crazy tariff rates it was at the start" is silly because WE ARE AT 80 YEAR HIGHS!

The economy should crash based on what the 'studies' say.
