Why not?

Well, for starters, we already tax the ever loving shit out of them. They basically fund all of the useless government initiatives we have today

Secondarily, their money is way more productive in their hands than the government's hands. They create jobs products we all care about and value. They don't fund a rail system that produces no rail

Thirdly, I don't think it's compelling to just take people's stuff because we say so. It's morally wrong and frankly makes you look like a bitch

Read up on what the 1%actually pay in income tax

The math is the math you small child. You said tax the 1%. The 1% earned 20% of gross income, and paid 40% of the total tax revenue.

1% of the population covers nearly half the bill for you and all your boomer benefits you bleed from the system.

For fuck's sake.... in 2021 Musk paid $11B in taxes. Bezos paid a billion in 2024.

Then think of the payroll taxes their company pays. Think about the property tax. Think about all the jobs they give and the income taxes generated from those.
