Sauce?

CBP says $500m

The agency said in a statement to CNBC, "Since April 5, CBP has collected over $500 million under the new reciprocal tariffs, contributing to more than $21 billion in total tariff revenue from 15 presidential trade actions implemented since Jan 20, 2025."

Same "Sauce"

I know you want to refer to tweets how PS5’s haven’t gone up in price (yet). But it’s clear in the data that firms front ran tariffs in Q1 to hold off price increases.
Still doesn't explain if costs are down who paid the tariffs.

Here is a hint - Even on a longer scale the majority of the tariff will not be paid by teh consumer.

Your point hints to the good retail sales figures - That was driven by front running for sure. Its why I didn't celebrate it.

In 2 months if PS5 goes up in price it means tariffs are paid by consumers.

Ok. Continue to ignore all available evidence.

The consumer doesn’t bear the brunt of the tariff just like Donald Trump won the 2020 election.

What available evidence?

The ones that use aggregate cost increases and doesn't look to any value decrease from a cost side on the supplier?

I'm sorry you can't keep up on these discussions.

Available evidence of where the incidence of a tariff falls.

I’m not going around and around on this again.

On one side is the consensus of economics and on the other side is the gut feel of an orange game show host.

There was an almost consensus of health experts once upon a time as well.

That turned out well.

Love the ideologies blind spot on the nefarious nature of the ccp.

It’s not just naive - it’s outright stupidity.

Thethe tried to explain to me that I didn't understand how businesses cost things.

How dare you argue with thethe. He's seen more spreadsheets than anyone!
