Who really benefitted from Trump's tax cuts?

Pfizer -->
Donations to GOP: $16M
Tax Cut Received: $39B

GE-->
Donations to GOP: $20M
Tax Cut Received: $16B

Chevron-->
Donations to GOP: $13M
Tax Cut Received: $9B

It's socialism for the rich in exchange for campaign $$$

So do you feel the same way about Obama giving money in his stimulus package to donors? How about first time donors who only did so after receiving federal funds from the stimulus package?

Wait, I'm confused here. Are people on this board alleging that politicians are using government power to favor people and organizations that supported their election bids? Are people here seriously alleging that these individuals we've placed the public trust in would be biased in their rule?

I'm shocked! Shocked I say!

actually talking about Sec Reich's assessment of the Trump tax cuts.

I'm just saying it's hardly surprising information. People and organizations will support politicians that they expect will give them things. Conversely, politicians will hand out candy to people and organizations that supported them in their election attempts.

It's universal.

I think in general the gender wage gap is nonsense used to rally the economically ignorant.......but in this particular case, I believe the USWNT have a legitimate grievance.

a big part of the revenues generated by the teams come via tv rights...it would be useful to have data on tv ratings and the payments specified in the tv contracts

the argument and lawsuit isn't the world cup payment

it's the pay from us soccer, not fifa

use stats that are relevant to their lawsuit

Hey man, if the women make more money, they should get paid more money.

I saw many politicians today complaining about the prize money of winning the world cup, including your favorite socialist.

It is absurd to make that claim

Apparently they do bring in more revenue for US Soccer than do the men, for the last few years.

again, who is my favorite socialist?

maybe you should fact check them before just spouting off stats that have nothing to do with the lawsuit

saying people you hate told you wrong isn't an excuse

Rapinoe and every liberal and their mother is complaining about the inequity of the prize money between men and women.

That is not what the lawsuit is about, but the lawsuit is not what the tweet I posted is about.

Following along?

The women prize money gets paid out a much higher percentage of the revenue than their male counterparts

cool

you quoted a message of someone agreeing they might have a legitimate grievance. which insinuates their case is valid

and you then put tweets and stats and said socialists or whatever told you wrong stats or they are arguing something else.

the original quote was about their actual grievance. not whatever you are trying to turn the argument into now

sturg, your statement was “if they make more money, they should be paid more money.”

Currently, the USWNT makes more money than the USMNT. They pull more $, they sell more shirts. Maybe you should just acknowledge that they should get a bigger slice of the pie and should get the same consideration wrt to field conditions and travel, etc, as the men do.

I believe they absolutely should.
