Have you guys ever been to Disneyworld (specifically Epcot)?? They have a really good German food buffet at the restaurant in the German section of the World Showcase. Now for those like AA (and probably goldie) who have actually traveled the world and eaten the real thing this might be somewhat rinky-dink in comparison, but for those of us who can't afford such trips the Epcot version is really good, so good in fact that if I lived nearby it probably wouldn't be long until I was about 400 lbs.

Cheese, bread, ham ....YEP, Im in. Sounds blood vessel cloggingly delicious!

Difference than here is after we eat Abendessen (dinner) we go for a walk. Hhere we sit on our fat ass and chug some more beer down. There they have schnapps (Williams - pear/peach very strong and has an unusual flavor) or wine after the walk.

Yes! I love the Biergarten -- and Epcot is my favorite of all the WDW parks. The experience is actually quite authentic.

I travel to Germany 4-6 times a year for work (was in Berlin two months ago and it was so cold I couldn't even stand outside to smoke a cigarette). It's a great country. I find the cuisine to be so-so (and AA, Burger King is seriously amazing in Europe), although, obviously, the wurst is where it's at.

My favorite German food items:
- Dusseldorfer Senf (Spicy Mustard)
- Mezzo Mix (Coca-Cola with Orange flavor)
- Haribo Fruitinis
- Wurst (Currywurst)
- Any and every in-country Pils.

A few of my pics from Deutschland (ripped from Instagram, so apologies for the quality): First pic is wild boar from 'Gerichtschlaube' in Berlin. It was gooood.

Is swiss german that big of difference with German?

Depends on area. Just like Belgium, different regions have different dialects even Germany have their nuisances. I could probably understand Germanbrave better than someone who is from Konstanz (very south Germany)

It is like putting a New Hampshirite (whatever they call them) and put them in the Louisiana bayou area. They would have a hard time communicating on a cerebral level.

Booger King?

More power to you Mate. When I am in Germany, American food is something I avoid.

Schnitzel smothered in jaegersusse (I get the small containers from my ex or daughter to make my own here) and Schwankbraten is the shizznit smoked over Beachwood inside a tripod grill. The mushroom/onion goulash is good as well. Oh and the venison stew has no comparison to the crap we have here in the states.

Also have you tried Rouladen? My favorite. Yes, it is fattening but some good eating though.

Clive Bundy should use the money he owes the guvment to buy a Nevada NBA team maybe the Nevada Ranchers. He and Sterling would be bff.

Damn it SAV, you just don't get it do you??? First of all the man's name is Clive, so therefore he's cool, almost British if you will. Next he "tiptoed around" government rules and regulations to use government lands to graze his cattle, probably making a pretty large payday for his efforts, therefore he is a hero. Had he laid on his ass and watched Springer reruns and waddled his fat ass to the mailbox to get a government check he would have been a freeloader. Is this helping??? Once more if you ignore any rules or laws you don't like/agree with and make a LOT of money you're a hero, if you ignore rules or laws you don't like and just barely get by, you're a bum and a freeloader, or as Humphrey Bogart's character Rick said in Casablanca, "I don't mind a parasite, I object to a cut-rate one".

Am I getting through to you son???

Funny. Isn't JayZ part owner of an NBA team? Care to discuss his lyrics with comparison to Sterlings or are we playing the liberals favorite game of 'double-standards ' again ?

I believe Jay sold his minority share in order to start his own sports representative agency.

Even then he only owned like 10% of the team.

I would like to see what Hov said that would be comparable to saying that black people were happier as slaves or whatever.

AA, there's a couple of good German restaurants in Minneapolis. I've provided the links. Not sure on where you can get good German sausage and meat, but I've provided a link to an ethnic butcher shop in NE Minneapolis that is more Polish than German. They might hang up on you (or track you down) given how the Poles feel about the Germans.

Black Forest Inn (a bit rundown and a hipster hangout, but awesome food): http://www.blackforestinnmpls.com/

Gasthof zur Gemutlichkeit (place where some guys--not the owner--had the Nazi-themed party a few months back and it hit the news. I have never been there, but hear it's good): http://www.gasthofzg.com/

I don't think that's true. Don't think Bill ORielly would let that happen. Then again didn't Shep have higher ratings then Greta and Bret Baier?

I think Jameis Winston has had two strikes and next mess up he is gone.
If not, he is being held to a different standard. Which to my mind is the line

Thoughts?

Two strikes? Other than a felony Jameson is fine. If he was a nobody, he'd be gone.

I do have a problem with the rape investigation. Shockingly the Feds are looking into misconduct in the case

Is the rape thing considered a strike? Nothing happened with it. Doesn't make him innocent, but can't assume guilt.

No, the alleged rape is not an issue.

There have been other incidents with a sense of entitlement that seems to be at the root . As in everyday rules of society don't apply or register. As it sits he is one bad game from public opinion swaying strong the other way.

Which is my question -- yes he is 20 but the fact he throws mid 90's baseball and has instincts coming out of his ears on the grid iron ---

it comes across his athletic talent out weighs his immature indiscretions.
Should he be held to a higher standard / does he get preferential treatment overtly or covertly
Fair to him and/or the others ?
