I guess you have more faith in MLB to run it correctly than I do.How many of Braves' country states would be covered in OTA?

The same tv territory they already had.
Don't think it would change.
Right.. I agree. I think it will be great for fans. The Rangers may have taken a hit, but it seems they took much less of a hit than the Cards did going with MLB broadcasting.
My concern would be fans having to pay for yet another streaming service.
I thought it got reworked a few years back and the revenue we started to get was more middle of the pack. I’m happy to be wrong. We already had the worst tv deal in the league since the one we had was signed in 2006 before the regional tv bubble contracts peaked.
So it can't be that much worse than that.

I was watching a video by Lindsay Crosby yesterday. He said when Liberty Media saw the TV contract, it actually lowered the purchase price for them when they made the transaction with Time Warner. So Liberty saw how bad it was.We already had the worst tv deal in the league since the one we had was signed in 2006 before the regional tv bubble contracts peaked.

They will obviously require the express written consent of major league baseball to disseminate the accounts and descriptions.I'm guessing all the internal structure - cameras, crew, on-air talent, etc, are owned by the Braves and its really about how it gets disseminated?

Or will it be prohibited? Will implied verbal consent suffice?
My sources have told me the new network will be call the Atlanta Sports Superstation or just simply ASS.And they will call it... Turner South. Or the Atlanta Sports Network.
Ah yes. Turner South. What memoriesAnd they will call it... Turner South. Or the Atlanta Sports Network.
Screw the Hawks. Ted Turner already showed them the way here. All they need is Braves baseball, Andy Griffith, and Sanford and Son.
