Just now trying to get my arms around it. Like I said, probably best to let the initial shock wear off and make sure the deal is announced before I decide I like it or that it's time to jump off a building personally.
 
Didn't we just have a huge lesson on not trading promising young players for money? And then turn around and trade away Wood for the right to not pay Olivera $32 million more.....

Mine would be his awesome duel with Jose Fernandez. One of my favorite games of the past few years to watch as a baseball fan.
 
The way the trade is being reported, I don't like it either. However, I'm going to wait until something, whatever it might be, is official before I make a final judgment.
 
On top of the arm ligament issues and blood clot issues, Olivera hasn't played since 7/13 with a hamstring injury. I really hope we get to pay him for the next 6 years.
 
Yeah...I'm really confused by the rumored deal...is Morse coming to the Braves too? I understand the comp pick is, but it sounds like the Braves are taking on Morse and Hector's salaries.

apparently no. If we are taking guys for the hell of it, we might as well take Morse. I hope this is different but it's just so stupid. So damn stupid.
 
I'm a fan of Olivera but this is the dumbest trade of all time.

I would've figured Wood & Peraza coulda gotten us close to Seager. This is a joke
