Ferguson....

Thats great that you avoided the question. Oh well, I shouldn't expect anything less from you on this topic.

If there was actual peaceful protesting (which is everyones right) would the police need to get involved?

To be clear, you avoided my questions first with your usual deflection of "did I say 100% of x equals y?"

You always give yourself an out with your BS of "I never said it's ALWAYS like this, or EVERYONE does that. It gets old. Have an opinion and stick by it.

Would you like to defend the cops in the video I posted who threatened and physically assaulted PEACEFUL journalists? I'll wait.

Why would I defend that? I live in the real world where subsets of every population don't act like the whole.

You however like to extrapolate incidents across the country and apply it to the whole. You can continue to live in that world.

I'm waiting for you to condemn it. It was a peaceful protest, as you've been calling for. And our domestic military wasn't having any of it. I may just start a thread showing nothing but videos of our domestic military attacking citizens.

Just like anything else I would need to understand everything that happened. What occurred before the video started rolling. Just like the shooting of Brown looked disgusting at first we learned that only one side of the story was being shown.

If in fact there was nothing illegal that prompted the officers to do this then of course they are wrong and should be held accountable. I've never held a position other than anyone who does something illegal should be held accountable. You however are just living with extremes with cops. Its unfortunate because the majority are really good at their job and provide safety and security for the country. However, there are bad cops out there that need to be weeded out.

It really doesn't matter what happened before the camera rolled. The military was in no danger, and they fired on citizens. Case closed. Nothing else needs to be said. They should go to prison for assault. Instead, they will probably be thrown a parade like the Boston military a year ago

So it doesn't matter if this group was committing illegal acts prior to the camera rolling? Seriously?

Everything matters.

What acts could they have been committing?

I have no clue. More than likely they were not doing anything but I have learned in my life that jumping to conclusions often makes you look foolish - Like many in this thread did.

I'm just looking for one example of something they could have done that would have justified that response. I'm curious, what would they have needed to do for you to be OK with that response?

The response to be clear was what? It wasn't clear from the video. Was that tear gas, flashbang, smoke bombs?

Sturg are these the protestors who are firing guns and shot two people or are they the protestors who are throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at the cops? Or are they doing both?

If this was happening on the street in front of your house, you'd be bitching that the cops hadn't stop the protestors yet.

Keep defending that military. I wonder what it would take to outrage you guys. Oh right, a black guy stealing cigars.

Cool, leave your front door and your car door open later today, so I can come by and 'steal' your stuff since it isn't a big deal. I guess you won't call the cops after that happened, would you?

Wow Goldy is right… you clearly do miss the forrest from the trees.

Just do me a favor, stop acting like you're a small government conservative.

Sturg, just to be clear. You aren't outraged by someone robbing a convenience store?

Absolutely. I'm a man who is guided by principals of individual liberty, which absolutely includes property rights.

But stealing cigars does not constitute a military invasion. Of course, I realize I'm in the minority here, which is sad
