No military training or law enforcement training teaches you to go for the knee cap. That's some Hollywood TV/movie stuff. Real life you're always trained to shoot at center mass, and to keep shooting until the threat has stopped.

Any cop who shoots a person 10 times, especially an unarmed one, has completely panicked. I know they don't train cops to shoot at the legs but any person who uses a gun for a living can do this. And a 12 yr old boy with a toy was shot dead by police. These occurrences are never out of the news. The police force is filled with inexperienced, fear driven douchebags who are taught to shoot first and that's what they're doing.
The question of why Brown was in such a rage remains.
The elephant in the room on this issue is law-enforcement's inability to go after the real criminals , the thugs who actually do have automatic weapons in their waists. If police could aggressively go after the actual gangsters perhaps they would learn the difference. I don't know why it isn't open season on any criminal gang member 24/7.

Stay in school and off teh streets and you'll put food in your mouth just fine.

What's sad is you totally believe this. You've bought into the insane idea that anyone can make it. That's not the truth even a little bit. There has to be poor to be rich, has to be struggling for others to have too much, so on so forth. If everyone stayed in school and worked hard, we'd have a lot of well educated homeless. That's ignoring the people who aren't school people cause they don't have the intellect to do it. Maybe we should get them to learn a skill, like production haha.
How about trying? How about not giving up? How about not blaming all your problems on others? HOw about not being a degenerate criminal?
I'm not expecting everyone be able to enter middle class from poverty. But, you can get a job flipping hamburgers. You can sweep floors. You can do many other things that people are looking for. Bottom line is too many black youths are making bad decisions.

Too many poor people make bad decisions, whether they're black, white or other. You think poor people in other countries don't have issues? Britain is pretty much all white, they have the same issues over there, and I could go on of course.

White people need to reflect on and genuinely try to understand why African Americans feel so marginalized and discriminated against and African Americans need to reflect on how they can change the image of the black community so that others aren't so quick to stereotype and ignore the very legitimate concerns about racism and systematic discrimination they face ESPECIALLY in the American (in)justice system.
