Ferguson....

My issue is that EVERY DAY I could find a story on a despicable action by a police officer. And yet half the country will be fine with it.

And every other day you could find a story of a cop dying if you were interested in searching for that stuff. (actually 2.9 per week)

A reminder for the holiday season.

This is the type of police force this town is dealing with:

Probably because the actual % isn't that great.

No, because I think Sturg feels that a majority of cops are corrupt but has no way of proving his suspicion. In reality the number is a fraction of 1% which I believe is too many but considering cops are human we are always going to get some scum.

first: you're just making up a number out of the thin air right after saying he has no way to prove the same thing you are trying to prove.

second: like the victim blaming of Eric in the NYC case, you are giving excuses for the bad ones and are part of the problem, again.

My estimate is based on simple logic considering how many instances you guys are bringing to the table with a multiplier over the huge number of officers that exist today.

If my number is so outrageous then please give another.

There are 900,000 officers in America. I realize not all of these guys are working on the streets but having only one bad incident a day as Goldie puts it it looks pretty good for the boys in blue.

Not when your "bad incident" results in the death of an innocent kid or even someone the public perceives as innocent. Just one of those in today's environment can scar a community for a long time.

Has the police department taken any action on the Twitter thing? Because this is worth every decent person calling that department and telling them to piss off.

hold on, you are saying just over 1 death of an American citizen a day by the hands of the body of gov't that is supposed to protect and serve the American citizens seems like a pretty good ****ing day?

holy ****

Not all result in deaths but yes when you look the numbers it's quite good. Most of us don't live in goldfly fairytale land where everything is perfect. Like you I wish there were none. With a number that large(900,000) there are unfortunately going to be incompetent cops along with a few that are sociopathic that will lead to deaths. As I said I wish it wasn't but human nature is what it is.
