I've mentioned it many of times in many of my posts. I say things about my kind I am not proud of but that does not dismiss the fact that cop failed at his job. He did not, I repeat did not know he was a suspect at the time and was just being an asshole.
This is all circumstance until we get all the details in. I don't believe the cop, I don't believe the two witnesses who said the same thing ironically, I don't believe the PD because they are notorious for messing with a crime scene. I know, my late grandpap said they would plant stuff in cars of people who get away with stuff all the time when they get a chance to pull them over on a tail light or what not, ps ( I got a lot of free moonshine from bootleggers and illegal fish from his confiscations)

I will defend my own kind when injustice is prevailing.
I will not discuss dead beat dads/thugs (being Deebo with a clerk and not hitting him does not warrant what people are saying, if that is the case half my high school would been in jail for felony assault) and drug dealers and what not because they piss me off more than you know.

What amazes me with GF KC and others. I might agree with some of their leanings but the sure in hell do not understand blacks or the black culture.
I said this many times in the last 12 years on this board and Scout, we are treated different, period.
A white guy drunk as hell drives down the street illegally and a single cop pulls him over. No gun drawn, just ask for him to get out of the vehicle.
In Iowa, I volunteered for the DD (designated driver) program so I escorted a few white females (taxi and bodyguard), not knowing the one way streets when parked in the alley, I turned wrong and the cop was waiting and immediately put on his lights and I immediately turned in the first parking lot and sat in the car, two minutes later 3 other cars with lights were there. Bullhorn told me to get out of my car, hands up, I did what they said, I had 8 guns on me, seriously. They had one token black and had him frisk me and do the sobriety test and I even gave him my DD card. The white cops dismissed it and one approached with a breathalyzer and before I did it, I told the black cop to watch the test. .000 was read and I was angry and told them they would pay for this and I told them who was in the car with me. We took a taxi home on their dime, the plant president gave a call to police and the police chief personally apologized to me and the other three gals.
But I was not done.
I ask why my white friend who did the same thing and drunk got pulled over no guns drawn. He basically said we did not know if you were a drug dealer with 3 white females in the car.
And you think we are already guilty until we prove we are innocent which is true.
I got pulled over many times for DWB in Iowa until that incident and here in Wisconsin until they knew where I work and who my wife is.
It is unfair. So again, if you aren't black do not for one moment think you understand. We live by a different set of rules.
Edit...my wife and the judge wife is best friends and the judge and I get along and if the police pull me over, he told me to call him. It is called "perks". There son is my son age and love to play together as both are mix.

Ok lets get into this a little deeper. I do not need to discuss this on here each day because I am personally doing something about black on black violence. I hear about the weekly violence in Chicago (or ChiRaq as one internet show calls the city), Philly, NJ etc on a daily basis. I have donated my money to a church in Chicago to help support inner city teens and keep them off the streets. I am a YPD leader in my church. I have helped to spread the word of Jesus Christ in some of the deadliest hoods in NJ. AA, myself and several other black members on this board do not condone the black on black violence. We live our lives trying not to contribute to this sad statistic and try to raise our families to do better as well.
See some of us don't have to talk about black on black violence because we are doing things to stop it. If you really want to discuss these things what the hell are YOU doing to help stop this? Afterall the people committing black on black violence are American citizens. Instead of discussing it why don't we all do something about it!
Now I really gotta go. Damn casino is calling my name lol

The police take extra precautions when approaching random blacks because its much riskier to do so. How you behave as an individual is irrelevant if the cop doesn't know you from Adam.

Grrrrrrrrr. Did you just say that? I can't believe what I am reading. I've been in a car as a teen with a white person who called a cop a douchbag for giving him a ticket. The cop stopped, looked back and then walked away. You have to be kidding me!!!! I am a black female who is extremely nice to all police officers. I can't believe you just said that BS omg smh.

That's the problem, you feed on that and agree with it. Why should I be under that scrutiny, do you hate blacks that much? Last time I check I am American just like you. You can get away with slinging and what not and if caught probation, if I did the same thing, 5 years in prison with the same judge.

Any black under suspension should be shot on sight is what I see from this. Robbing a store for NO MONEY without using a gun and get killed for it is not justice.

I'm also not sure what a white person calling cop a "douchbag" has to do with the fact that blacks commit violent crimes at a much higher rate than whites. If you have a problem with anything its the scale of modern society which prevents police from treating people as individuals.

He was shot for assaulting a cop and trying to steal his gun. I also said that if he fled after he committed the assault, the cop is guilty of murder. Like I said before, in mass society cops can't get to know everyone in the community so they have to rely on risk assessments when dealing with people. It doesn't do justice to law abiding individuals such as you and njc108, but on the whole its a much better solution than pretending race doesn't matter.

okay I can somewhat agree, but him going for the cop's gun bothers me? I can see him slamming the cops door, but going inside the cops car? That to me is unbelievable. It lacks any common sense unless the cop brought him over forcibly, which I lean to the guilty member and those on the street that said the same thing and was not in cahoots.
Until we know the whole story we have speculations.
personally, I think all parties are lying to some degree, but I do know if he shot him more than 5 times and 30 feet away, he should be charge with murder or give up his badge for being overzealous as we know in this country if a white cop shoot a black guy, they will never be prosecuted. Too many examples of this. Even choke holds kill black perps when they were innocent.

How many times you shoot is irrelevant. The only thing that is relevant is whether you have a reasonable fear for your life or the life of another, and it sounds like the officer had neither. I'm not sure why you're arguing common sense with this thug. If he had any he wouldn't have been robbing a convenience store.

You should ask your mommy how police officers are trained...fire high center mass to stop the action. They dont train to kill...its called stopping the action. And do you actually know how difficult it is to fire accurately in that situation? Its not the range....get real...please.
Who knows how the incident truly unfolded...but if the officer was in his car when he was assaulted that hints towards the officer being on the defensive. Officer receives blows from the suspect...blows that could possibly cause the officer to become visually impaired or possibly unconscious. What happens then? Maybe the suspect runs...maybe he grabs the officers weapon and executes him?
Its easy for everyone to form an opinion from their couch how the officer should have handled the situation. The opinion ive formed from my couch is the officer felt his life was threatened and took the action he was trained to take.
Making this about race is ridiculous. This officer had been working for four years in that area and had never received a complaint from a citizen...which is quite rare.
If Michael Brown was white this would still be a huge issue because the hate for police is quite strong. But using the black vs. white really gets the people going huh?
