Floyd's performance tonight reinforced my view that he is likely to be superior to Harang going forward and should be in the rotation. However, I would not object to sending Wood to the pen for three or four weeks and leaving Harang in the rotation during that period.

I would be OK with that. And only use wood Sparingly as well. Like what I'd do is use him every 3 games for an inning, regardless of the score. Only exception being is if the SP is dealing. he can close out the 9th and he won't be wasted in a blowout. Only exceptions are as stated before and extra innings. I'd use him for the 10th in any extra innings game. Just the 10th. If we can limit his innings to say 10 innings for the next month. he would easily fly below his goal of 180. Also I'd tell him coming out of the pen not to let it air out.

Well Fredi, that's partially right. Except when your managing a bullpen, you get up, you get down, you get up, you get down, you get up in a hurry, make 3 pitches to a batter, get pulled and get to do it all over the next night, and the next night, and the next night, and then the next night asked to pitch 3 innings.
