Then all these naysayers will realize that this philosophy of closing their eyes and ignoring it was about the dumbest thing that anyone has said since the dawn of time.
We've been fighting these guys for decades... it's clearly working

thethe - Can we get some documentation on the "millions" numbers?
I wonder how well it stacks up to the death tolls from our action in just the last 10 years
And the Boston Marathon bombing.
And again, this is not a US threat. It has to be viewed in a global perspective. We can't just sit here and say because it doesn't happen here all that much that it won't in the future. You can't just ignore this threat. It has to be met with absolute conviction.
No argument from me.
I know where you stand. I wasn't quoting you to argue your point. I was simply using it as yet another factual reference point from which I can further support my overall views.
There should be no ambivalence at this point when it comes to radical Islam. There have been enough horrifying atrocities committed around the world in just the last 10 years for it to be clear what they are and what needs to be done.
I know it's trendy and PC (to do so), but I think using radical shifts the focus from the actual problem to one of the symptoms of the problem.
Its a great point. I just want to be careful with that because while I am not a religious man I do feel you should 100% have the right to practice your religion as long as it doesn't harm anyone.
That would be a neat trick.
For whatever reason you are on board I'm glad. It has to be dealt with immediately.

Ft. Hood wasn't it? And of course the events on 9-11.
I guess I always just get irrupted that the deaths of the hands of Muslims are monstrous, but the many many many more deaths at the hands of government is justified.
For the record, I think they're both monstrous.

Remind me of the last Islamic radical attack on American soil?
Remind me of the last movie theater shooting on US soil ?
Deflection --- you make me laugh
"During an initial interrogation in the hospital, Dzhokhar alleged that Tamerlan was the mastermind. He said they were motivated by extremist Islamist beliefs and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and that they were self-radicalized and unconnected to any outside terrorist groups. According to him, they learned to build explosive devices from an online magazine of the al-Qaeda affiliate in Yemen.[17] He said that he and his brother had decided after the Boston bombings to travel to New York City to bomb Times Square. Dzhokhar was indicted on April 22, while still in the hospital, on 30 charges relating to homegrown terrorism, including use of a weapon of mass destruction and malicious destruction of property resulting in death.[6][18] He has pleaded not guilty to all of them."
Do they not have Google or Wikipedia where y'all live ?
