The pitching can also be easily improved this year as well

in hindsight, i don't think that team had a shot at competing in the playoffs against really good pitching.

That 2013 team also started 12-1. So at 43-33, they were 31-32 since their hot start -- roughly the same as the 2014 and 2015 teams.
So in other words, Justin Upton.
Probably one of only 10 people in baseball that can truly carry a team for multiple weeks at a time.
Have you ever felt otherwise?
That stinks bc the offense that year was a ton better than our offense this year.
As the team was sucking last year I absolutely worried about the future.

Considering we beat Grienke and were in great position to beat Kershaw before Fredi Fredi'd, I'd tend to disagree
We only scored 2 runs off of Grienke in 6 and Kershaw only let up 1 earned run over 13+ innings.
