GDT: 05/07 O's @ Braves: Return of Ar-See-Ya

Yeah i think Grissom would actually be too much for Giolito. Wonder if they could get Kopech as well, fix him, and put him in the pen.

He walks the world. Not sure there is any coach in the system that teaches control based on how most of our pitchers like walking the world as well.

Even as bad as Grissom has looked, i wouldnt use him for a rental SP. Nor would i think AA would either.

We could always use another good bullpen arm. We could make something work. But a lot of it is gonna depend on how Fried feels in a month.

Joe Kelly? ERA is bad but his peripherals are still top notch. He's also a potential rental with a club option for next season.

Honestly not sure you expect much from him the rest of the way. I almost feel like Soroka after his first surgery. If you get something from him it’s a bonus. Can’t count on him coming back

I’d do that. The White Sox are just bad right now. Alot of those guys could use a change of scenery.

This, and the fact that imaging showed every thing “structurally was very good” has me optimistic he won’t need the knife.

I agree. Hopefully just a light strain and with enough rest he comes back fine.
