Underrated moment in that inning: Snit yelling out to the umps whether the guy touched second like a dementia patient asking what time Wheel of Fortune comes on.

Yeah I want to see this team at least act like they’re pissed off and give a shit. Talk to them before the game if you want to socialize. Go out to dinner with them, whatever. Don’t be fucking smiling when you’re getting your ass kicked and a year of the window is going down the toilet.

It is. He's laying the groundwork to the casuals on X that snit is a problem. He can't outright call snit what he is bc he needs access, but he's the only prominent guy pointing out some of Snit's idiocy

They're wearing on him... not the other way. Acuna had one of the biggest fails of the game, and then he let the same reliever get him again
 
The question that really needs to be asked is why we continue to not put Baldwin and Murphy in the lineup. I

The Braves would likely be fined heavily if they closed access to a reporter for doing a reporter's job. You can ask the question without being or sounding disrespectful.
 
I’ve never seen Mark Bowman this sharp in his criticism. I don’t think Bowman is the best beat reporter in baseball, but he’s pointing out what the fans are seeing and making the points that the fans wish others in the media like David O’Brien and others would make.

I don’t live in Atlanta, so I don’t hear or see what the radio talk shows and TV reporters say. From the outside, I don’t hear a lot of bad mouthing from the Atlanta media. Kind of wish there was a Paul Finebaum type of guy there.
 
Bowman speaking like that speaks volumes. Everybody sees it and in a year where we are hosting the ASG and will probably only have 1 guy (Sale) representing us is embarrassing.

It absolutely speaks volumes. He’s speaking the same things the fans are.

If I knew firing Snitker would turn things around, I’d call for it in a heartbeat. But as I’ve said before, are the Braves going to be any better with Perez or Weiss in the interim? Or are they just an extension of Snit? How about this? If you let go of Snitker, how about a Mark DeRosa or David Ross in the interim? I know that may be a bit of a goofy idea, but this team needs a jolt. I’m not sure Eddie Perez or Walt Weiss can provide the jolt.

Regardless, there has to be a conversation. I appreciate all Brian Snitker has done for 40+ years in the Atlanta Braves organization, but it’s not hard to see how he has regressed with his managing.
 
I see all the good will from one good game is completely gone. Sure the coaches and radio used the getting in late last night excuse.

I think the players see how bad this coaching staff is and are purposely not trying. Why should they if all the coaches don’t.
