He is a Special Assistant to the GM, and also if IIRC, one of their scouts for Latin America. So it’s not like he’s just groupieing.

Every time I see him it makes me happy. The Braves do a better job than most with celebrating alumni.

I think that was why he was upset about those hits.. He wanted one more inning and knew that probably cost him that honor.
