It is baseball. There is no such thing as just making it happen. Acuna is the best player in the game. It was extremely unlikely he was going to have a series like this, and unfortunately for us it came at the worst possible time. Im.not saying he doesn't care. He hasn't performed. Two straight years.

He certainly ain't the only one but he's the biggest one

Fans are mostly stupid, as evidenced by the hundred stupid comments in this thread.

I do feel a bit sorry for folks unable to control their emotions about a baseball game. They probably refer to the team as “we” due to the same mental issue.

Sure.

And that still means nothing going forward, and is not a statement on his ability or value. He’s more likely to put up an 1.100 OPS in the playoffs next year than a .650 because that’s who he is.

We have years and years and years of evidence, the playoffs aren’t different, they’re just a far smaller number of games.
