GDT 10/17/21: Braves vs Dodgers - NLCS Game 2

Love Duvall and Soler but I think Joc and Rosario would be the 2 I brought back. It would depend on Ozuna to and the DH. We have Acuna coming back in ST so one spot is already taken up. Soler and Ozuna would make this team to RH imo and I think they are both full time starters. Rosario and Joc would be my picks bc they can be swapped out here and there and not complain to much.

Honestly, I wouldn't rule out 3 of the 4 back if at a reasonable price. You cannot get over the flexibility the roster has right now and how that is helping us forward. With Acuna coming back off a torn ACL, he should get a 1-2 days off from fielding a week (assuming the use of a DH). Plus, even if Ozuna is back, he faces a long suspension for most of if not all of the first half of the season.

So ultimately, Acuna, Pederson, Rosario, Duvall, Ozuna could rotate between the outfield and DH throughout the week.

If you pick two, one has to be able to cover center I think.

I think Soler and Rosario are the best hitters. But one of these probably has to cover CF and I don't know that you want Ronald doing that off knee surgery.

I'd Probably lean Pederson over Duvall for the lefty bat.

I'd guess all are looking for full time gig.

I'd imagine some of those probably want a full-time starting role somewhere too, even if the DH is added to the NL. Best case, we can probably keep 2 of them.

Of course, i'd expect them to explore the market for a starting role. And they may find it. But at the end of the day, if it is a starting role for a bottom dwelling team, or a part time role for a championship caliber team, unless the money is significantly different, i'd imagine they'd chose Atlanta.

Just how much money are you expecting that the 4 OFers under discussion will demand/get this offseason?

Morton and buehler faced off this year in dodger stadium...
Morton: 6.0 ip 3 h 1 er 2 bb 8 k
Buehler: 7.0 ip 4 h 2 er 2 bb 5 k

Luke Jackson and matzek gave up runs that lost it.

FF was 0-4
Riley had 2 hits
Pederson took buehler deep

Feels like a trap game tomorrow. Morton our ace going and being up 2-0 with FF being typical playoff FF. Seems like the laws of averages will say he is due to have a good game, but laws don't work in Atlanta sports history.

I am pretty stoked we are flying up 2-0 though. At least one more game of baseball revenue.

Regardless of what happens this series, this playoff run has brought in a ton of revenue. Should leave no excuse for AA to not spend this winter.
