Honestly, I wouldn't mind switching d'Arnaud and Swanson in the lineup. Swanson has shown signs of having competent at bats while d'Arnaud looks like a monkey ****ing a football

Flew to LA for the game yesterday morning. Got back to Denver at 2:00 am. Absolute pain.

At the end of the day, I feel good going against Urias. We hit him hard the other day and he's coming back with limited rest again. The Dodgers used 9 pitchers yesterday. We should've stepped on their neck yesterday and didn't, but they aren't off the deck yet. Have to do it today.

I just don't see how we get this game to the 6th with 4 dodger runs or less. I'd love to win today, but I'll settle for making them cover 5 innings with the pen trying to protect a 2-run lead. I think tomorrow is our best shot

Agreed. I think the momentum, whether you believe in it or not, is the only thing lacking here. The Dodgers are extremely deep but having to be feeling the pressure, especially with Urias likely going no more than four and a bullpen game slated for tomorrow. The Braves will have a fully rested Fried, Anderson and Morton going the next three, if the series goes all seven, of course.
Are the dodgers going with a pen game again for game 5? I know they are lacking in the starting pitching dept as well but man their pen has to be on fumes right now.

If we can get out urias early, wonder if they then turn to max tomorrow and pen game 6
I was thinking if we win tonight they might go with Max on early rest to try and give their pen more rest before a pen game. But Max has already said he had dead arm and so he may need an extra day too. Winning tonight puts them in a bad spot from a pitching perspective.

We are certainly in a better position from a pitching standpoint even with Jackson and Matzek throwing every day. It just doesn't line up well for them, especially tomorrow.
Going into game 4 last year after giving up 100 runs in game 3 I didn't feel particularly confident that we could stop them from scoring 20, but then Bryse outdueled Kershaw. A miracle like that again today from someone like Smyly or Ynoa and this thing is over.

One road win is what we need. I don't think they can sweep us at home. Just get the W in 4 or 5 and the series is ours.

I'd think so. I'd go Minter/Ynoa/Smyly or some combination and hope we can grab a lead or tie through six-plus innings. It was probably always going to come down to Max Fried tomorrow or Ian/Morton at home.
