GDT 10/2/24: Braves @ Padres - WC Game 2 - Gotta Win to Survive

Honestly would be a good thing if it was April. 100 IP a year is good as long as he is healthy for the playoffs. Its more a problem that he didnt have a month off from a random injury right now. We need to not **** around next year and win when we are theoretically the healthiest so we can give Sale an IL visit or two just for rest. I like my suggesting as just using him as an opener for the first month or so then ramping him up over the second month. That way he can really take it slow in ST. He doesnt have the cleanest delivery in the world. He is going to break down over a full season. We need to go into the season understanding that. An extra day off here and there isnt the answer imo. Not when he is going 7 innings.
 
The games in May and June are just as important as the ones at the end of the season and we saw that this year. If we get down 2 early then dont mail it in like Snit usually does. You always keep your foot on the other teams throat.
