It's 5am here in Tunisia... I got a flight in 3 hours to Cairo, Egypt... the game will be on at 2AM local Cairo time instead of 1am here. I AM SO STOKED.

Guys I don’t have a clue how you feel but every single night for the last month going to sleep I feel this is unreal.
Minter has done it before and he didn’t pitch today and has an off day afterwards. It makes sense.

Minter needs to be used in high leverage situations not wasted for a couple innings as an opener. There are several guys in the pen that can do it. Save minter, Matzek, etc…to close it out. But that’s just my opinion

The reason I think it makes sense is it makes sense to have one of your better guys work through the top of the lineup. Possibly higher leverage than the middle innings when he’d likely work. He’s good but he’s probably not going to be used the last 3 innings and if we’re trying to close it out Matzek might work two.
Chavez or Minter is fine as the opener tomorrow.
The only 2 guys with real platoon splits are Altuve and Brantley, so either pitcher works fine to neutralize one of those hitters.
This Astros lineup is balanced and deep, so really it just boils down to the Braves pitchers beating the Astros hitters. There simply isn’t much strategy to play against that offense.
And so far, the Braves pitchers have answered the call. They are the reason this team is in position to be champions.
