Every inning in a close out game of the World Series is a high leverage inning. He could easily go two or even 3 innings. Matzek and Smith can go two if they want. Like you said day off Monday so burn your bullets now.
 
I'm just hoping the offense can score some runs early... but knowing them they'll probably wait AGAIN until the later innings just to take more years off our lives.

The only 2 guys with real platoon splits are Altuve and Brantley, so either pitcher works fine to neutralize one of those hitters.

This Astros lineup is balanced and deep, so really it just boils down to the Braves pitchers beating the Astros hitters. There simply isn’t much strategy to play against that offense.

And so far, the Braves pitchers have answered the call. They are the reason this team is in position to be champions.

Can they give MVP to an entire staff? These guys deserve it.
 
Minter didnt go tonight, so gotta figure he starts, or even Chavez for the 1st then Minter then mix and match the rest of the way through. Or start with Chavez then go with Smyly and save Minter for later.

He has the stuff to be a number 2 starter or better. If he gets it figured out between the ears, watch out. Tonight was a great step in the right direction.

I always say he need to get a full season.
 
Wright may have pitched his way into the 2022 rotation, with Soroka out a good chunk of the season.

May also depend how much money AA has to work with this winter as well. No idea who he could get to take a 1 yr deal in the 8-10 mil range pending what happens with Freeman.
